Kron helps service providers to serve better to their customers by its next-generation products and fast delivery of its integrated solutions. Kron's customers enjoy strategic advantage among fierce competition with Kron's OSS products, high performance appliances and distributed application platforms.
The paradox :
Sustainable growth in an environment of costly customer satisfaction
A potential problem virtually for all companies whose business runs on large IP networks is incapability of managing growth effectively. Operators are obliged to continue investing in new technologies for acquiring new customers and retaining existing ones in an environment of strong competition, and they are constantly faced with the hard task of making investment wisely.
This task requires an effective management of a complex infrastructure consisting of products provided by different vendors on local and global scale.
An extra army of employees and hundreds of hours of training time may still not be enough for smoothly performing otherwise simple procedures like customer activation or delivering a service with moderate speed.
The result :
Either customer satisfaction plummets and subscriber base shrinks, or operation expenditures climb even higher.
A single-vendor approach may be an alternative to limiting future operation costs, but the initial capital expenditure in such cases is usually too big to stay in competition.
Although a multi-vendor system may require less capital expenditure than a single-vendor system, the operation costs for the former exceed those of the latter in time, slashing profits and turning the initial advantage to disadvantage. There is a third option which lifts the burden created by rising costs.
Kron’s “Three Dimensional Approach” to the problems arising from the high cost of assuring quality of service and experience in a multi-vendor environment with separate sets of technologies and features, the “Single Connect”, “Single Command” and “Quality Assurance” solutions, provide efficient OSS, improving operation costs and enabling fast and easy introduction of new services.
